The industry's only automatic, reversing grinder pump is designed to pump raw sewage in a sewage ejector application. Solids are cut into a slurry using the industry proven "scissor like" Tri-Slice® cutter technology. This includes a rotating cutter cutting against the stationary cutter plate reducing solids down to 1/8". The 230 Volt, 2 HP, Model 840 utilizes a vortex impeller. Every time the pump is called to run, the cutter assembly will pump a different direction as the previous rotation. This action reduces the potential of stringy material wrapping around the cutter assembly. The Shark Series® E840 should use a control panel and control switches allowing it to turn the pump on when called upon. The Model 840 is constructed with a cast iron body, enabling it to withstand the most demanding sewage ejector applications. The pump's identification tag, handle, and hardware are made of high-quality stainless steel preventing rust and corrosion. Everything about the pump is designed in a way that allows it to hold up in the toughest sewage conditions. Every pump is submerged in water and tested to its published performance curve, ensuring it meets your expectations and delivers peace of mind right out of the box.
